FoodLab Sydney is a not-for-profit food business incubator that empowers food entrepreneurs and community-shakers with the tools for change. We are passionate about creating a fairer, more sustainable food system in Sydney and beyond.

Our programs provide training, networking, mentorship, work placements, and market opportunities to help turn your passion into something bigger.

Since 2019 we have demonstrated our impact in over 70 alumni from all different cultures, backgrounds, work experiences and ages.

Our Programs

We run two high-impact programs that aim to build confidence, creativity and food entrepreneurship.


Taster Program

A two-week workshop series that welcomes food entrepreneurs into the FoodLab network and lays the foundation of food business. It is a pre-requisite to completing the Full Program. 


Full Program

A four-month intensive program that incubates early-stage food businesses or those seriously considering launching. The program offers weekly workshops, online resources, placements, field trips, mentoring, and access to an ongoing suite of support services.


Food business is world's apart from any other industry, and there are a lot of things that I learned here that would be impossible to have known otherwise. If I didn't join FoodLab I am confident I would have failed. The gold of FoodLab is the people and their generosity.
